The process, step by step
If you're a foreign couple marrying in the City of Buenos Aires, this is everything: the documents you need, how long you have to be here, what it costs, and who gets paid what.
- Minimum 10 business days in Buenos Aires
- We provide the witnesses
- Apostilled certificate included

The process, start to finish
- 1
You get in touch
Tell us where you're from, whether either of you was married before, and whether you speak Spanish. With that we give you the exact price and the list of documents that are yours to gather.
- 2
We put the paperwork together
We send you the civil registry forms to fill in with your details and your parents'. We download your proof of entry from the immigration site ourselves.
- 3
We lock the dates, then you book
We work the minimum 10 business days around the public holidays and confirm your date window before you book anything.
- 4
You arrive and we request the appointments
Appointments can only be requested with you both in the country. Once your passports are stamped, we go to the civil registry.
- 5
The notarial act
A short interview before a public notary. This is where the notarial act and the second part of our fee are paid.
- 6
You marry, and we apostille the certificate
We supply the two witnesses. Fifteen business days later the Argentine government apostilles the certificate and we send it to you, at no extra cost.
What you need
Anything not on this list, we handle.
Valid passport
Both of you, unexpired. This is the one document you absolutely have to bring.
Civil registry forms
We send them to you. You fill in your own details and your parents'.
Two witnesses
They need an address in the City of Buenos Aires. If you don't know anyone here, we provide them.
Proof of entry into Argentina
We download it from the immigration website. Nothing for you to do.
If either of you was married before
Birth certificate, marriage certificate and divorce decree, all apostilled. It's a separate procedure and takes longer, so tell us as early as you can.
If your documents aren't in Spanish
They must be translated by a certified public translator registered in Argentina, which carries a separate cost.
Common questions
Talk to us before you book your flights
You need at least 10 business days in Buenos Aires — with public holidays that usually works out to around 15 calendar days. Appointments can only be requested once you're both in the country, so the dates depend on when you land. Almost every couple who books flights before talking to us ends up paying to change them.
Shall we start?
Tell us where you're from and roughly when you could travel. We'll give you the exact price and your date window before you book a thing.
We typically reply the same day.
